Achieve your goals
My philosophy in tennis is to use tennis as a vehicle to teach life lessons- life values (respect, excellence, discipline) and life skills (honesty, integrity, fairness, problem-solving, and self-reliance). Teach respect for rules, opponents, officials, teammates, equipment, and one’s self.  I strive to teach a love of the game for all ages while making my instruction as fun as possible while teaching the fundamentals needed to improve one's game.
My teaching philosophy is to start with a solid foundation and build on it. I will show you the basics but if you are a more experienced player I will take the game you have and tweak it, only making changes where absolutely necessary to achieve your end goal.  I use point of contact and footwork drills to help you get into position to be able to hit the shot you wish.  I will work with you on the court with positioning and strategy to teach you how to win.  Winning is a habit, and so is losing.  Which habit would you rather have?

I certified as a wheelchair tennis coach and have experience coaching people with disabilities as well as at-risk kids.

GPTCA Level-A Master Pro                            (15 in the USA, 160 in the world)                     USPTA Elite Professional                              Etcheberry Sports Trainer                                Georgia Professional Tennis Association (GPTA) President

I am an independent tennis professional and teach within a radius of Marietta to Alpharetta, GA.

I am the former Director of Tennis at the Concourse Athletic Club in Sandy Springs before the pandemic.

I am a highly-skilled development-focused tennis professional with extensive experience in the tennis industry. I have coached across various skill and age levels and built a proven record in producing players and building teams capable of competing in elite competition with junior and adult players at all of my previous clubs.  Many successfully graduated with scholarships and the ability to compete at the collegiate and pro levels.

I have specialized in engaging with young players throughout my career and ensured they were provided the support they need on and off the court to succeed as individuals and in a team environment. By applying an excellent knowledge of modern coaching practices and a strong understanding of physical and psychological principles, I can consistently develop well-rounded, high-caliber players, whether 10U or senior players.
